IS SABLE PAW A REGISTERED CATTERY?
Absolutely! Sable Paw Maine Coons is dually registered with CFA and TICA. Kittens will be TICA registered when they go to their new homes.
DO YOU DO ANY HEALTH SCREENING ON YOUR BREEDING CATS?
We do. Sable Paw routinely DNA tests all of our breeding cats for 50 different genetic mutations including Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). They also receive echocardiograms annually beginning at one year of age. Each individual cat's results will be noted under the queen and sire profiles listed on this website.
HOW MUCH DO YOUR KITTENS COST?
Our kittens are priced to reflect their quality and the quality of their parents. We put a lot into our breeding cats so that you can get the very best kitten we can offer. The current average price of a Maine Coon kitten ranges from $2500 to $6500. Our kittens are priced accordingly after individual assessment based upon breed standard, color rarity, and personality. Prices are not quoted until after the kittens have been properly evaluated which takes a minimum of 4 weeks.
DO YOU HAVE A WAITING LIST?
Yes we do. If you are interested in being added to the list, you should first complete the kitten application. After being approved, you may request to be added to our waiting list. You will be contacted when we have available kittens in the order in which you were added.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?
In order to reserve a kitten, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the price of the kitten is required. This deposit will go toward the price of the kitten. Reservations will be accepted at a time of the breeder's choosing.

Payments may be made at any time after the reservation is placed, but payment must be made in full at least 48 hours before the kittens scheduled pick up date.

Acceptable forms of payment are cash, Zelle, PayPal Business, and Venmo. For payment methods that charge a fee for use of their services, there will be a 2% surcharge added to the requested payment.
